The John Houston Homes Story

In 2005, John & Tracy Houston started a home building business with a mission to Reach People for Christ and Give to the Kingdom. With a handful of employees, they built a few homes in those first years and began a journey that would help people find their way Home in more ways than they could have imagined.

Today, almost twenty years later, John Houston Homes is employee-owned by over 100 team members, is ranked amongst the top home builders in the United States, and builds hundreds of homes a year in four major market areas across 40+ communities.

This founding mission continues to be the heart and soul of the business and a driving force behind subsequent companies established under the home brand. What has also endured, is a strong focus on bringing life-giving relationships to the home building journey with the families who buy and build homes with us, and in the communities in which we build.
